SCCA 50th Anniversary Challenge Ride – Sunday 17 September
To mark the 50th anniversary of the Shropshire Cycling Club Association an Anniversary Challenge Ride will be hosted by Mid Shropshire Wheelers and Hafren CC on 17 September 2023.
Event HQ is Westbury Village Hall, Hinwood Road, Westbury, Shrewsbury, SY5 9QU (google map). Sign-on will be from 08:30, groups will start from 09:30.
Two routes are available:
‘The Anchor’ – 58 miles, heading west to Montgomery, Abermule and Glanmule, then to Clun via The Anchor climb, returning via Bishop’s Castle, the Hope Valley and Minsterley.
‘The Vale of Kerry’ – 45 miles, using the same route to Glanmule, then returning via Church Stoke, Hope Valley and Minsterley.
