Records Broken at Anfield 100

The Anfield Bicycle Club 100 mile Time Trial is one of the oldest Time Trials in the UK and quite rightly called a classic. The course is always held on Shropshire Roads, always on Whit Bank Holiday Monday and the Mids have had many notable performances going back to the only Male solo win with Brian Morris in 1958. This years event was no exception with Becky Lewis winning the Women’s event and breaking Melanie Grivell’s 1985 club record with 4:12:45. Becky combined with the on form Victor Chetta and husband Howard Lewis to not only win the team award but also smash the club record with 12:05:21. A big well done to all our other riders who completed the course.
