National Cyclo Cross Series Final – Dec 11th 2016

Once again the Mids have been chosen to host another high profile event at the Shrewsbury Sports Village. Following on from the 2 day National Cyclo Cross Championships in January 2016 the cream of British Cyclo Cross talent will take on a select group of Europeans hoping to grab World ranking prior to the World Championships selection deadlines.

The Shrewsbury Sports Village course whilst flat has been described by Scott pro rider Nick Craig as “relentless”. There is nowhere to hide and take a breather, it’s go all the way racing and spectating is free from 10am with Veterans through to the last race of the day the Elite and Under 23 Men where brothers Luke and Ewan Grivell – Mellor will carry the Mids hopes. In the Youth races we have Ryan Greaves, Rhiannon Tansley and Daphne Jones taking the opportunity to experience National Level racing.
