BWA WMCCL Round 13

Sunday 22nd January was the penultimate round of the BWA West Midlands Cyclo Cross League and once again there were podium positions across the age ranges. The start proved a little tricky at this new venue with hidden traps in the long grass which took down Ryan and Daphne but both got up to keep the Mids in the hunt for the Top Club League Award.

The weeks winners were the brothers White, Jude in the u6 and Noah in the u8. Lucy Hart was once again top of the pile in the u16 and Bridget Jones in the V50.

Cerys Greaves and Ewan Grivell-Mellor took 2nd in the u12 and Senior races. Alex Hart and Seb Ball again consistent in the u10 with 4th and 11th, Ryan Greaves 7th and Daphne Jones 5th in the u14. In the Senior and V40 race, Andy Collins took 28th and Mark White 43rd with Dave Mellor 23rd in the V50.

Next weeks final round is the very fast, all weather Pype Hayes Park, a super venue for the final round last season and the opening round of this season. See you there.
